Risk Disclosure
Read this before you connect an account or act on an idea.
Last updated 22 September 2026
This disclosure forms part of the Terms of Service. It is deliberately plain.
Trading can lose you money, fast
Cryptocurrencies, foreign exchange, contracts for difference on metals and indices, and other leveraged instruments are high-risk. Prices move sharply and without warning. With leverage you can lose more than you deposit. Most retail traders lose money. Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely.
TickerAI is an AI tool, not an adviser
Trade ideas are generated by a large language model working from historical prices and technical indicators. They are:
- not personalised financial advice and do not take account of your circumstances, objectives or tolerance for loss;
- not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything;
- not predictions. Past price patterns do not predict future results; and
- fallible. The model can misread data, invent levels, or reason badly, and will sometimes be confidently wrong.
A "confidence" label on an idea is the model's own estimate and has no proven relationship with outcomes.
Position sizes are estimates
Sizes are computed from your balance, your risk setting and the broker's contract specification. They ignore commission, swap, spread widening and slippage, and they assume your stop is filled at its price. In fast markets stops can be filled far worse, or not at all.
Automated execution
If you enable "ask me first", an order is sent when you confirm. If you enable "trade for me", orders are sent without asking you whenever an idea passes your risk rules. The risk rules reduce, but do not remove, the chance of loss. Connectivity failures, broker rejections, partial fills and duplicate deliveries can all occur. You are responsible for monitoring your account and for every order placed on it.
Data can be wrong or late
Prices come from third parties and may be delayed, missing or incorrect. Charts and scans are only as good as the data behind them.
No guarantee of availability
The Service may be unavailable when you need it, including during volatile markets. Do not rely on it as your only means of managing open positions.
Your responsibility
Before trading, make sure you understand the instrument, the leverage, your broker's terms, and the tax and regulatory position where you live. If you are unsure, seek advice from a licensed professional. By using TickerAI you confirm you have read and understood this disclosure.
